As part of its commitment to healthcare equity, Charity World Trust organized a comprehensive Free Health Camp in three remote villages of the Kottayam district. Over 300 villagers received consultations, free medicines, and diagnostic tests from a team of 15 specialist doctors and 30 paramedical volunteers.
Screenings for diabetes, hypertension, eye conditions, and dental issues were conducted throughout the day. Mobile units ensured that elderly and differently-abled residents could access care from their doorsteps. The camp also featured nutritional counselling and awareness sessions on preventive healthcare.
"This is perhaps the first time many of these villagers have seen a specialist doctor," said Dr. Suresh Mathew, one of the participating physicians. We thank all medical professionals who donated their time for this noble cause.
